As a volunteer, you’ll become a part of the Mission Lexington family as you create miracles of help and hope. Last year, more than 1,000 volunteers, with a wide variety of backgrounds, donated more than 30,000 hours of service, giving hands-on care in our social services area, donation center, thrift store and by providing administrative support, and more. Mission Lexington volunteers report a deep sense of satisfaction in contributing to the well-being of individuals and families while working alongside others who have the same desires.

We provide the training for all volunteer positions, so no prior experience is required. Whether working in social services, donation center or helping to make an event successful, you can be a part of the life-saving work we do.

Minimum age requirements: You must be at least 14 years of age to Volunteer at Mission Lexington, Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

For volunteer applicants, after registering online, please WAIT to be contacted by a Volunteer Coordinator. We will inform you of our next orientation dates and set up a time for you to come and tour our facility.  Please do not show up to volunteer for the first time until you have been through orientation and have a start date.
